Baseline is a multicultural international Lighting Design Studio, founded in Hong Kong, proving lighting design services for architects, interior designers, property developers, general contractor, retailers, and hotel brands. We craft ideas, create designs, and transform them into real-life solutions with a successful blend of creativity and pragmatism.  Our ambition is to create unique and emotional lighting atmospheres that spotlight your brand, your estates, and your products, all while being sustainable and easy to manage. Our work is wide-ranging in terms of type and scale, we offer a vertical solution and extend our scope of work following up projects from preliminary design to construction to keep control of design authorship (lighting consultancy, lighting design, lighting simulation, animation, control engineering, luminaire design, project management, bespoke decorative craftmanship). Our designers have architecture & engineering background, allowing them to tackle complexity of building & technology. Baseline educates client to hire lighting designer at the early stage of the project to work hand to hand with architect instead of getting involved at design stage. We are able coordinate with client team and consultants to apply best practice lighting strategy. We have offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Manila. In total Baseline has 20 people internally including lighting designers, engineering & programming experts, and project managers. We are connected all over the world with representatives in Europe, Middle East, USA, and other countries in Asia to monitor projects and provide support services to our clients. We are easy to work with. We have a very good “client-follow up” as well as an excellent “client satisfaction level”. Our sustainable mission is highly important for us. Our lighting designers are LEED Green Associates. We are trained and certified to comply with environment lighting requirement (e.g., low wattage and high efficiency per square meter LPD<30w/m2). Additionally, we are EcoVadis Silver certified ensuring high CSR. Finally, our designer team is trained on Revit software for BIM modelling.
